Peyton Pablo-Manning Nurse
National Black Contractors Foundation of America (NBCF) has launched a program to expose 10 to 17-year-olds to the virtues of giving and the rewards of serving. This initiative follows the principles inspired by Peyton Pablo-Manning Nurse, which stresses the importance of giving back. This program is designed to provide pre-apprenticeship carpentry training to youth struggling to find their way. The program is named in honor of Peyton Pablo-Manning Nurse, a young man who spent Three summers under the mentorship of NBCF's founder and found it to be a transformative experience. At the age of 16 years old gave back to the Logan Heights CDC as he built a sandbox for the childcare center, which was a senior high school project under the mentorship of the NBC Foundation’s president and founder Abdur-Rahim Hameed. Tragically, at the age of 21, he passed away in a car accident. However, his legacy through this program seeks to provide opportunities for youth to develop skills and find their purpose
The program is designed to honor Peyton's legacy and provide youth with valuable life skills that they may not have otherwise had access to, helping them to develop a sense of purpose and direction. The program is a testament to Peyton's generosity and his desire to help others, even after his passing.
The Peyton Pablo-Manning Nurse Life Skills program is a wonderful tribute to a remarkable young man.
